Research interests: The fusion of biology and nanotechnology, rooted in the principles and chemical pathways of living organisms, as well as the structure and function of natural macro- and nano-molecules present in living cells, stands out as one of the most promising strategies for addressing critical limitations in detection, diagnosis, and disease treatment commonly encountered in clinical trials. Our research interests are centered around the creation of multifunctional nanotools and nanotherapeutics utilizing noble metals, transition metal chalcogenides, carbon dots, and polyphenols for various biological and biomedical applications. These applications encompass real-time detection, cancer theranostics, and disease treatment.
