The World Blind Union (WBU)

We are the Voice of the Blind, speaking to governments and international bodies on issues concerning blindness and visual impairments in conjunction with our members.
WBU brings together all the major national and international organizations of blind persons and those organizations providing services to the visually impaired to work on the issues affecting the quality of life for blind people.
Globally, we are divided into 6 regions, with each region having its own President and volunteer executive team to assist the needs of the local members.

「提供全方位的服務、促進有機會的環境，成就智能及發展障礙者最大可能」沒有企業財團的支持，憑藉的只是父母對孩子的愛。
沒有人希望自身或自己的小孩殘病，但是，我們無法選擇，面對孩子的不幸，我們遺憾，但絕不放棄，「一顆父母的心，陪孩子走一生的路」，是心路存在最重要的使命與價值。
心路現有的一切，都是來自過去二十年來許多人慷慨無私的付出，讓心路能夠幫忙更多的智能障礙朋友。
因此心路會更用心、更努力，以回報過往今來，每一位持續付出的贊助者。

Perkins is an innovative leader in serving people with visual impairments. Strong leadership from both staff and the Board of Trustees has created a legacy of education and discovery.
We are always questioning how to best serve our students in the classroom, in the community and around the world.
